Paul was just 4 years old when he discovered the urge to cut hair. You'll be pleased to note after City and Guilds training he has perfected his skill!

After leaving school at age 17 he took a full time college course in hair styling.

"I was very privileged, entering a college with brand new facilities, the best equipment and exceptional teachers." Upon graduating, he began fulltime work as a stylist with Andre Bernard in Hastings. During his days off, Paul worked in London to gain extra training and experience.

However, he soon got itchy feet. His next job was in Bermuda where he stayed for three years becoming an expert in Afro hair.

Returning to the UK, Paul enrolled in an art course. Two years later he was again smitten by the urge to travel and after two years' backpacking, ended up in Hong Kong's infamous Chungking Mansions.

Not planning to stay here long, he took a temporary job as a waiter at a newly opened restaurant and found himself styling hair after work.

"I soon got to be very busy cutting hair."
